Writer / Director 

Iris Dukatt

Iris Dukatt is a Queer New York based Director, Writer, Producer and Actor of film and live performance. She focuses on stories that disrupt and decenter societal power structures. She seeks to make work that is inclusive, radical, boisterous and delightful. This past year Iris worked as an Associate Producer on GAPS, a short film created by Jenn Shaw with Tribeca Studios and the Queen Collective. Some recent directing credits include: BEASTS, a short film modern adaptation of Act IV Scene V of Shakespeare’s Coriolanus, Speculum and Piglet, two micro-horror shorts,  Strangers, a Music Video for Julia Gargano, Heights, a Music Video for Singer/Songwriter INDIRA, Feet Stuff, a Music Video for Queer Pop Musician COROOK, Pretty Girls Don’t Light Their Own Cigarettes, part of HOT! Festival at Dixon Place 2019, If You Give A Kid A Sucker a new play written by Annalise Cain produced with The Clementine Collective, and both mainstages Grounded and Red at The Unit 14 Theatre Company. As an assistant, Iris has supported director Jenn Shaw and worked on HBO’s upcoming mini series White House Plumbers as an EP/talent assistant to the actor Justin Theroux.
